With nothing to go on after the announcement of Alex Ichs departure from the team, we had been going on rumours, with a few players in the mix including Fomko. That was until today when our source revealed that Gambit had been scrimming with the RoX mid laner and a jungler named 'nxq' while Diamondprox is at the Allstar event in Paris.
Fomko is a Russian mid laner who has been on the ever unchanged lineup of TheRed, now known as Rox. Most notably they crashed out to Gambit during IEM Cologne last year, finishing in 5/6th and taking home $2,500. Often seen to dominate the Russian scene (aside from Gambit of course) the side has yet to make a significant impact in Europe, falling to SK in the WePlay invitational in December of last year, and losing to Denial Esports last month in the BlackMonster Cup.
